Founding of the school

It was established in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. Founded by Mr S Mapasure. The institute aims to be at the top of among private colleges through promoting universal learning with the assimilation of a lot of digital learning in their curriculum. BoLI aims at training pupils to become useful citizens in this life. BoLI is a multi racial, multicultural college, where boys and girls receive an education of the heart, hand and head.

Beacon of Life Institute is a fast growing educational establishment founded in April 2019 from premises previously occupied by EMCEE and later Faith Christian College. The Founder (Mr Sabelo Mapasure) is a professional Library and Information Manager in UK whose endeavor is to contribute to the development of his home country through education and health improvement programmes for the community. Located in 29 Fort Street on two floors, the building provides an excellence venue for learning and interaction. All learners have modern classrooms on the first floor, with a tuck-shop providing essential foods thus limiting the need for students to endanger themselves by going to the streets during break times. The Institute currently runs classes for forms 1 to 6 and private tutorials by arrangement. We will soon offer professional courses and health awareness campaigns for the community focusing on mental health, long-term diseases and Christian education

Beacon of Life boasts of professional and qualified educators and administrative staff who have accumulated years of experience within and outside the education sector.

The Executive Director and Founder of the Institute is Mr Sabelo Mapasure (Dube) whose role is to steer the organisation towards its vision through strategic planning and astute leadership.

Principal

The Principal is the Head of School ensuring the day-to-day academic programmes are delivered timely. They are also responsible for curriculum development and scheduling of classes supported by the Deputy Principal and the Registrar.

Registrar

The Registrar is the chief administrator of the Institute responsible for student recruitment, admissions, marketing and promotion, students records and all customer services function.

Bursar

The Bursar is the general manager of the Institute responsible for financial management , facilities, income generation, human resources and organisational development.
